How to Become a Member
Okay, so how do we go about this membership thing? Don’t worry, it’s not a big deal and you’re definitely not signing your life away! If you want oils you can always purchase from a distributor but you also have the option to become a Wholesale Member. I know, I’ve had experience signing up for other companies and have felt taken advantage of in the end. This is not the same way. To keep your Wholesale Member status, you are NOT required to make monthly orders or minimums. None of that. You are NEVER required to tell others about Young Living. You are NEVER bothered by people to work this as a business (if you are, please email us ASAP). You simply are now able to purchase your oils at a discounted price. Think of this like a Sams or Costco membership… You pay a small free to become a member and get cheaper prices.

In fact, to Distribute YL you don’t have to buy some fancy additional kit, you don’t have to purchase $1000 of product and we will NEVER suggest you carry a stockpile of Oils to sell to friends. Distributors get the same starter kits regular Wholesale Members do, they’ve just made some money by telling friends/family about the amazing Oils. Okay, back to the Kit. The kit I recommend EVERYONE get is the Premium Starter Kit for $150. It is truly the best kit you can imagine. There are other options, but I PROMISE this $150 kit is THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. It comes with the Everyday Oil Kit ($163 retail)… 5ml bottles of Lavender, Peppermint, Thieves, Purification, Peace & Calming, Joy, Frankincense, Lemon, Panaway and Valor. Oh wait, it also comes with Stress-Away!!Mmmmm….. Stress-Away…. Oh wait, where was I? Anyway, you also get two sample packs of the top 5 oils (lemon, peppermint, lavender, peace & calming, and thieves). Oh, AND… a Diffuser. Now just hold on a second there. These diffusers are AMAZING and retail for $98. NINETY-EIGHT dollars!!! And it’s coming in the kit. That is a crazy huge deal. 
You can’t beat getting 11 oils, 10 sample packets, AND the diffuser for $150. The other two kits they offer at $40 and $75 don’t make sense to me at all. The $40 kit comes with the samples but NO diffuser and NO oil bottles. The $75 kit comes with the diffuser and samples and Stress-Away, but NO kit of 10 oils. My issue with the $75 kit is that you have a diffuser, but practically nothing to diffuse and you’ll have to buy more oils right away just to get started… so why not get the 10 oils for $75 more? The only time I recommend the $40 kit is if someone is anxious to get started and budget just doesn’t allow for the $150 kit. I will tell you, EVERY SINGLE person who has ordered the $40 kit under me ends up getting the $150 kit that month or the following, without fail. So again, if budget allows, the larger kit is THE best value. 
The other advantage you have is that the Wellness with Purpose members are part of a larger group called the LemonDroppers. Signup Instructions for you…
Step 2: make sure “Wholesale Member” is marked off instead of “Retail Customer.” This signs you as a “member” to Young Living and it’s the only way to get access to the kit and the 24% discount you get afterwards. It’s really important!
Step 3: make sure my member numbers are in both the sponsor & enroller blanks – 1555104 (they should be entered here for you if you used the link in step 1). If another member invited you here, please use their number that they will give you.
Step 4: Fill out all the information. It will ask you for your ss# but this is only for legal purposes so that you have the ability to bring in a paycheck (YL is a referral based business). If you never sign anyone up, your ss # will never be used. Lemon Droppers do not pressure people into the business end…EVER. We want you to use and love your oils and we love you as a member whether you work the business end or not.
Step 5: Make sure you write down your pin, user name and password when you choose it because you’ll need that in the future to log into your account.
Step 6: Select the first “PREMIUM STARER KIT” This is the one with the everyday oils kit and the diffuser and the start living kit. It will be $150. The other kits do not include the oils kit. *Get the kit with the diffuser! There are two options but trust me, THIS is the one you want!
Step 7: Scroll down through the “Essential Rewards Kits” and click “no thank you” (you are not obligated to sign up for Essential Rewards at this time, but it does have some great benefits, but to be honest, I always tell my new members to get the kit, try the oils out, and then talk to me before your NEXT purchase. We then we will see if ER is right for you and your family).
Step 8: At the bottom of the screen hit Next.
Step 9: Confirm your enrollment information (you should see my name as your enroller and sponsor, or the person who referred you).
Step 10: Add any oils, capsules, or products that you would like in addition to your kit if there are any that you would like. Ask me how you could earn the monthly freebies by adding a few oils to your order.
Step 11: Check out and you are DONE! WOOHOO!
YAY!! You are a member!! Wooooohoooo!!! I remember how excited I was to receive my starter kit. Your membership will stay active as long as you spend at least $50 in a calendar year. You do not have to continue to renew your membership each year… that kit was a one-time thing and you will remain a member as long as you spend that $50 a year. Which, trust me… that won’t be a problem.
